HANDGUN MARKSMANSHIP

Aim

Aiming a handgun is like aiming a rifle. Using the sights properly is the key to accurate shooting, and careful, patient trigger control will deliver the target results you want to see.

Grip

To have complete control of your handgun when it fires, you must be gripping it correctly. You should use the same pressure you would to hold a hammer. You can fire your handgun either two-handed, or one-handed and from several positions. Figure out your gripping technique at a shooting range. Shooting using both hands will increase your stability and is preferred by most people.
