Module 14 - SURVIVAL

CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING

Most hunters have fuel-powered toys and most of those toys generate dangerous fumes. Cooking stoves, heaters, boat motors or anything else that burns carbon-based fuel, can cause carbon monoxide (CO) poisoning. Watch out for flu-like symptoms, including dizziness, headaches, nausea, and exhaustion and in bad cases, unconsciousness. CO is not to be taken lightly—it’s an invisible predator and a quick killer.
